Qualcomm, TechFaith to Jointly Set Up New Company

Qualcomm and Chinese TechFaith recently announced they will jointly set up a new company called TechSoft, which will develop application software for mobile devices, with 3G CDMA handsets as an initial focus. Qualcomm and TechFaith will invest a combined US$35 million in the new company, which will be based in Beijing and Hangzhou.
